People Support are delighted to announce that Lisa Collins, has been awarded the Registered Manager award at the Carmarthenshire Care Awards.
Lisa joined People Support in early 2024 as our Registered Manager, bringing her expertise, dedication, and a positive outlook to the role. From her very first day, Lisa set a high standard, ensuring that the branch maintained compliance, expanded its services, and strengthened relationships with service users, staff, and partner professionals.
Lisa’s extensive experience and unwavering commitment has been the key to the growth and success of the Carmarthenshire branch. Her efforts in making a meaningful difference to the lives of those in the local community have not gone unnoticed, culminating in this well-deserved recognition at the Carmarthenshire Care Awards.

Caru’s journey with People Support began in the office helping out one day a week, but her desire to make a difference quickly led her to becoming an apprentice care worker.
Now, Caru balances part-time work in the Amman Valley area with her sixth form studies—a testament to her incredible focus and determination.
Despite being early in her career, Caru's knowledge and skills in health and social care are remarkable.
Her compassionate approach has earned her praise from both colleagues and service users, culminating in her well-deserved award.
Caru’s ambition to pursue a career in nursing highlights her commitment to creating positive change.
